GCSB bill 2013: The Change, The Need, and The Arguments

Government Communications Security Bureau is one of the security agencies for the New Zealand Intelligence Community. The approval of GCSb bill 2013 after its third hearing has been termed as one of the most controversial Government bills and was quipped to be a tool of wholesale spying on New Zealanders. The authority and power the bill possesses is certainly an area of concern for many however, it also is a necessity for the government agencies to protect NZ from various internal and external threats.

GCSb bill 2013 gives the edge GCSB needed to ensure the following:

1) National Security
2) Firewall for protection of digital enterprises and communitcation networks
3) International relation & economic stability
